Raven's Corner

One of my dear friends was inspired by this piece and wrote the most amazing poem and dedicated it to me. I love the poem so much I decided to add it here. Please show hey some love and support and fav the poem here.

Of Mist and Raven Some said she was made of Mist and Raven
Some just thought she had been forsaken
Some claimed she came out of the Mist with a Raven
Some assumed that she had been taken

Taken to a place to be left forsaken yet
Here she stands in the mist tears wet
Her name she says is Raven yet
She has a pet raven whom poses no threat

By the ocean she watches all before her
The waves have a calming effect on her
Her wings she spreads while gazing above her
Towards the heavens as the ravens gather 'round her

Her arms she hugs herself tightly
Her past haunting her nightly
Her mouth closed tightly
Her song of death and despair hauntingly

Out of the mist she appeared
A raven perched on her shoulder
Eyes gold and piercing
Lips blood red
Hair blacker than the darkest night
Skin whiter than snow
Raven, she whispered
From the mist she disappeared
